Pentax K-01 16MP APS-C CMOS Compact System Camera
I had this camera for a few weeks and I must say that I like a K5 I want a camera that will give me an image of similar quality in a smaller package of K-01. Although the two are not as small as I want. But it handles well, and implementation of a better life, the implementation of live view on DSLRs, I DA Limited lens of the camera, and are focused and well managed. I have not tried since I have a great lens for the K5.
In social situations, the camera makes you feel comfortable and able to shoot from the hip (literally) makes it easy to share your story, and still get great photos.
I have not shot the video. The button to access useful features.
The objective of this camera is a breeze, much easier for me to DSLR focus and zoom points of view, life is much easier to concentrate on the nail.
If you are looking for a camera to capture the serious, this is a good choice, even if you do not have the lens, Pentax 40 mm or Teh lesn Kit is unique to the DA40 is a major limitation (and I have both. Against them), my only concern is the lack of hood 40mm kit lens, lens, which does not give me problems when I have the same lens. (I sold it because I have a DA40 Ltd).
For people concerned about the lack of a viewfinder, optical or electronic I have ever K-01 several times under the Texas sun is bright and the LCD works well enough for me to write. OVF or EVF focus on good faith is not for me.
All in all, I think this camera is a winner and well-improved DSLR complement.
